A Dali painting titled Adolescence was recently stolen from a museum in Holland. I'm not advocating theft...just interested in knowing which paintings might be worth the effort. I'd go for something painted by Vermeer... Young Woman with a Water-pitcher. I'd study it endlessly. moreResolved Question: Did you know some famous Witnesses of Jehovah?

How did Elizabeth wish to be seen in her portraits? Elizabeth was queen between 1558 and 1603 so for roughly 45 years. She came to the throne aged 25 and died at the age of 69. There were specific people chosen by the queen who could paint her portrait and all other painters who wanted to paint her had to paint copies of the approved paintings. The paintings were very often unrealistic-more so as she got older because she was a woman in a mans world and she couldn’t allow herself to look frail in pictures otherwise she would be replaced. All paintings from when she was older were very biased apart from any paintings painted after her death which were designed to make her look weak and to make people feel happy that the old queen is dead and they have a new MALE monarch. It also implies that females aren’t as strong as males and that they can’t rule as well as men. Elizabeth wanted to be seen as a prospective spouse for another member of a foreign royal family this is shown in the Ditchley portrait where she is showing Power and also Purity and Virginity because she is wearing a white dress however she looks years younger than her actual age when the portrait was painted. The Ditchley Portrait was painted when Elizabeth was 59 years old although she looks about 30. The Rainbow Portrait was also a portrait symbolizing love and virginity the pearls showing she is a virgin and the serpent with the ruby in its mouth showing that her mind rules over her passions. This painting was painted in around 1600 meaning that she was 66 and looked a lot older than the painting suggests. The painting suggests that she has just come to throne and is looking for a husband hence the low cut dress, and the long red hair done in a less severe style. The pearls which symbolize virginity draw the eye down which was intended making it more likely that this was going to be at the time when she was looking for a husband. Being depicted as a peace bringer was a key point which was important to show people because Elizabeth didn’t want her subjects to think that she was trouble and couldn’t bring peace to the country. One of the most famous pictures depicting her as a peace bringer is the Armada Portrait. It was painted soon after the Spanish Armada was defeated and it depicts her as a peace bringer, as being a virgin and having lots of power. The main elements of the painting are the fact that she has her hand on the globe showing that she is powerful enough to rule the world but also that she could bring peace to the world if she ruled it. She is wearing pearls again which symbolizes her virginity and there is a crown next to her showing her power. Behind her are pictures of the Spanish Armada. It was important for Elizabeth to be shown as a powerful and strong monarch because she was a female monarch and men were considered to be higher ranking than woman. In the Coronation Portrait she is showing her power by holding an orb and sceptre, she has a crown on her head and her cloak is lined with ermine fur which symbolises Virtue and Purity she has rich clothing and lots of jewels both of which symbolize her power because it shows how rich she was. The Ditchley Portrait also shows her power in a strange sort of way. The weather is split as is she is so powerful she can even control the weather. She is also stood on a map of the world again implying that she is the ruler of the world. Again she has very rich clothes and lots of jewels on showing her wealth as well as her power. In conclusion I think that Elizabeth wanted to appear as a young, beautiful, Rich powerful queen who could run a difficult country without male support of any kind. I think she also wanted to keep all rivals for her marriage in her hand which is why she was portrayed as a virgin in the majority of her pictures. She is ageless in her portraits because even at the age of 66 she still looked about 30 and these pictures are still left whereas she died just over 400 years ago. I think she wanted her subjects to respect and admire her for what she was doing (Queen of England) and they wouldn’t respect her as much if they thought she was frail and insecure. She wanted to appear fashionable and so in all her pictures she is wearing an over the top dress which was at the height of fashion at that time. I think that for Elizabeth looking good in a portrait was a necessity a bit like when we have a photo taken of us and I think the most important things to portray were her beauty, youth, wealth and power. moreVoting Question: spelling and grammer help?
El Chapulin is a very well-known restaurant in Mexico City. There were so many things that made it unique during my visit. When I’m there I feel satisfied and right at home. My favorite reason for visiting is being able to taste the foods of Mexico and being able to see its wonderful people just by being in El Chapulin. I like eating there because it’s a buffet and because I can eat anything I want; also, they have lots of variety like steak, chicken, spaghetti, a salad bar, fruits, pastries, ice cream, coffee and lots more. When I arrived in El Chapulin the fist thing that I saw were the stone sculptures and famous paintings done outside. The restaurant is made out of mud and adobe like most houses in Mexico. Even though it is made out of mud, it looks very beautiful with the old still designs and the bright beautiful colors. Every time I go inside a server greets me and finds me a table. All the servers in the restaurant are both warm and hospitable. When I was walking to my table I was able to smell the wonderful food before I even saw them. Once I was able to see the buffet table I saw all the different kinds of food. Once I got to my table the server asked me what I would like to drink, then he handed me two plates so I could go up any time to serve myself. Once seated at my table, I saw the beautiful Aztec shield within the table and hand maid chairs that looked like thrones. Once I decided to go up and get some food I took the long way to the buffet table. That way I could get a glance at the whole restaurant. While I was walking I saw a bar with lots of people cheering on their favorite soccer team on the flat screen TVs. I saw everyone was satisfied in the bar because everyone was getting their drinks fast. I wanted to see how many bartenders there were and to my surprise there was only one and it was a gorgeous Latin woman. She was making the drinks as fast as lightning. While I was walking I realized that this restaurant is very roomy and not crowded at all. The tables are separated and people have plenty of space between them. I also noticed that the place was very clean and it wasn’t hot since most buffets get hot with all the food out. Once I got to the buffet table I saw there was a giant grill where I could place and order of a steak and they cook it to my liken. They also offer a variety of menu items that are cooked at the grill right in front of me like, Grilled chicken, salmon, cheeseburger, and many more grilled favorites. The buffets it self has many favorites to choose from. I never eat the same thing twice because of the large varieties. While I was eating some of the female waitresses started to put on a show for the customers. The bartender put on a Mexican country song and the waitresses started to dance mean while the bartender was doing some tricks with the liquor bottles. I thought it was really cool and very entertaining. Once I was done eating I headed to the dessert table, it was the biggest table with deserts I had ever seen. Every thing looked so taste from the cakes to the cookies and brownies. To conclude my visit to El Chapuline, I had the greatest time there. I really enjoy their beautiful and very unique artifact in side and out. The large variety of food was very delicious and the steaks were cooked to perfection. However, my favorite part of the whole restaurant was the dessert table, every thing there was mouth-watering. Hopefully, next time your in Mexico City you will give El Chapuline an opportunity. I know you will not be disappointed. moreVoting Question: Spelling and Grammer help and anything u would like to add :P?

I cant seem to remember his name. Its like cibo or ciro and he paints these soft and lovely paintings of women where the fous seems to be on her face. I saw alot of his art as acrylics and I seem to remember the dealer told me that he was famous for painting book covers. Most of the time the model in his art was a brunette woman with her hair pulled back or possibly cut short? I really want to purchase one of his paintings but I cant remember his name. They are typically large paitings on canvas and are very lovely, with vibrant colors but at the same time very soft pastels. The artist is a newer artist. its a he and i dont know his nationality. but i do remember that the artist's name was very short only like 3 or 4 letters. I have only seen his paintings as acrylics i dont know if he uses other mediums. but they were always of women or a woman just relaxing in everyday settings. The settings though were of gardens or sitting rooms.I believe he might be american, and I saw alot of his originals in a gallery in seattle, wa. The gallery has since moved and I cannot call them and get the name otherwise i would. moreResolved Question: What style of painting is this called?
I am trying to find paintings that are in the "point of view" perspective, such as a "Being John Malkovich", looking through the eyes of a person. I remember a French painting of a man at a bar with a woman, the mirror reflection makes the viewer feel as if they are looking through the eyes of the man. Another painting comes to mind of famous Spanish (?) royalty staring out as if they have noticed someone looking at them. What style of painting is this called? I like the feel of these paintings, making the viewer feel as if they are a character in the painting. It is the same point of view we all have looking through our eyes on a daily basis. moreResolved Question: term used for ample sized women in famous paintings ?

I have to do a project for Frence about Henri Matisse. Please let me know if i could change anything about it and give me your ratings please. Henri Matisse, a famous painter in France, was born in Le Cateau On December 31st, 1869. He grew up in the Northeastern part of France with his family. In 1887, he went to Paris to study law. At that time he worked as a court administrator. After about three years of working he had Appendicitis, which caused his mother to buy him art supplies. While Henri was still sick he passed time by painting. After recovering at 1891, he studied art at the Academie Julian and became a student of Adolphe Bouguereau. In 1896 he exhibited 5 paintings in a Salon and the state brought 2 of the paintings. In 1897, Henri became a student of John Peter Russell because he was a more flexible teacher in the work of art. Afterwards at around 1898, he went to London to study the paintings of J.M.W Turner. During this time, he married Amélie Noellie Parayre. The two had Jean in 1899 and Pierre in 1900. On 1905 he moved South to draw flat shapes and control lines. Afterwards, Henri and a group of artist, started a group called “Fauves”. This group gathered in a room in Salon d”Automne. In the room Henri showed the group several paintings such as “Woman with a hat” and “Open Window”. Many of Henri’s finest works were made between 1906 and 1917. About 50 years after, On 1954 November 3rd, Henri Matisse died. moreResolved Question: Help! 9 yr old girl watching porn!?
ok..my sister is 9 years old and is curious about what a male and female look like without clothes. so, one day, she went on google search and started searching for images of nude men and women. She might have seen something and in a few days, she went over to a male friend's house, and started showing him that picture. The boy's mother saw it and turned it of. She told our mom about it. We confronted my sister, my mom, dad and me(im 17). She was very taken aback and said she was searching for "paintings by famous people", so my parents said it was no big deal and asked her never to see such stuff again. But i was not entirely convinced, and saw the search history on google, I saw that she was actually searching for nude images, and the little boy's mother was not joking. My sister doesn't know that i know. I didn't confront her thinking she wouldn't go to such sites again after the conversation with our parents. Today, i saw the search history on her computer and saw that she was again searching for these things! even after she promised that she wouldn't! How should i speak to her? Curiosity is normal, but this is just plain sick! And im pretty sure it is her searching for such things because no one but she and my mom use that computer. Not even her friends. What should i do? How can i convince her that it is wrong without embarrassing her? I don't want ot get my parents involved unless the situation is getting completely out of hand, but 9 is too young and especially for a girl! please help!o, by the way, im her sister, not brother, so i can talk to her freely without embarrasing her, but i don't know how to! moreVoting Question: Generalized beauty , real or not.
Lately I have argued that there is a generalized, commonly accepted beauty. That if I had a poll of who is hotter a 400 pound woman or tara reid, that tara would win . I believe that the majority of places of the entire planet that if I posted this poll it would be true. People say its in the eye of the beholder, and maybe it is to an extent but I believe in generalized beauty . I believe in playboy magazine selling millions of copies, I believe in famous actresses 99 percent of them having rocking bodies. I believe in a show called baywatch where babes run around in red bathing suits being possible. I believe in a art search for woman, lady being a 99 percent result of sleek beautiful skinny women.. I believe in venus or urbino and it inspiring several several sexy figure paintings after ! I will, Lest we forget Not bad for a little country Wednesday April 23, 04:23 PM Anzac is a name enshrined in our history Enlarge image As New Zealand prepares to honour its war dead on the country's 93rd Anzac Day on Friday, Ian Stuart of NZPA looks at some of the names, terms and traditions which have grown from the day of remembrance. Twenty-one-year-old soldier Keith Little had no idea of the tradition he was about to put a name to when he ordered a rubber stamp in December, 1914. Five months before the disastrous Gallipoli campaign moulded two nations, the Wellington-born journalist-turned soldier was a clerk at the headquarters of Lieutenant General William Birdwood, the British commanding officer of the joint Australian and New Zealand force that had assembled in Egypt. The Australasian Corps had been suggested as the name for the Australian and New Zealand soldiers preparing for Gallipoli but was rejected. Little was believed to have come up with the name ANZAC -- the Australian New Zealand Army Corps. ADVERTISEMENT The name became part of military history and has become the heart of much of what the two countries stand for and what their soldiers, survivors and their families and friends went through at Gallipoli and military conflicts that followed. In August, 1916, only a few months after Gallipoli was evacuated, a law was passed prohibiting the use of the word `Anzac' in business or trade promotions, further enshrining the Anzac legend and the sanctity of the commemoration. April 25 became a public holiday in 1921. Some memorable terms, traditions and names include: - ANZAC DAY: Now a national holiday and a national day of remembrance for all casualties of war. APRIL 25, 1915: The day New Zealand and Australian troops landed on the Gallipoli Peninsula and died in their thousands. ANZAC COVE: The beach where troops landed and hugged the sand hills as Turkish defenders put up a murderous fire to drive them back. CHUNUK BAIR: The top of the ridge which was taken briefly by soldiers of the Wellington Battalion led by Lieutenant Colonel William George Malone before the Turkish soldiers regrouped, counter-attacked and threw the New Zealanders off. The New Zealanders got further than any other Allied troops and were the only ones to see the Narrows. Malone was killed during the Chunuk Bair assault on August 8. CASUALTIES: 2721 New Zealand soldiers died. 8709 Australians, 33,072 British, 10,000 French and 87,000 Turkish soldiers also died. LAURENCE BINYON: The man who wrote `For the Fallen' first published in The Times newspaper in London in 1914, when he said his subject was war and the pity of war. His most memorable verse read: They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn At the going down of the sun, and in the morning We will remember them MUSTAFA KEMAL: The inspirational Turkish soldier who told his men he was not asking them to attack, but to die as they threw the invaders off the peninsula. He also wrote the memorable words now cast in stone on the Anzac Cove beach to his fallen enemies. "Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives, you are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore, rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehemets to us where they lie side by side in this country of ours. You, the mothers who sent their sons from far away countries, wipe away your tears, your sons are now lying in our bosoms and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land they become our sons as well." He was later known as Ataturk, the Father of All Turks and in 1923 became the first modern president of the Republic of Turkey. CYRIL BASSETT: The New Zealand corporal who was the only New Zealand soldier to win a Victoria Cross for bravery on Gallipoli. He was 23 when he landed with the first wave of New Zealand troops on April 25, 1915. Four months later on August 7, as the Kiwis defended Chunuk Bair, Bassett laid a telephone line to the new position in broad daylight and under heavy fire from the Turks. He continued to repair and maintain the line day and night under the Turkish guns. SIMPSON AND HIS DONKEY: The English medic John Simpson Kirkpatrick and his donkey Murphy, also known as Duffy or Abdul. For 24 days after April 25 Simpson led Murphy as he carried wounded soldiers down to the beach first aid stations before a Turkish soldier shot him dead. He was 22 and had enlisted with the Australian Imperial Forces in August, 1914, under the name John Simpson, believing he would get back to England after deserting from a merchant ship in Newcastle, New South Wales, in 1910. One of the most asked questions by Anzac troops was: "Has that bloke with the donk stopped one yet?" Simpson never won military honours for his bravery but was recommended for the Victoria Cross the month after he died and in 1967. In another twist, one of the most famous paintings of Simpson and his donkey, by New Zealand artist Horace Moore-Jones, does not actually portray Simpson. The painting was taken from a photograph of New Zealand medic Dick Henderson although Moore-Jones, also a Gallipoli veteran, believed the photograph was of Simpson when he painted it in 1917. POPPY DAY: One of the oldest national appeals, usually on the Friday before Anzac Day. Poppies became the symbol of sacrifice and remembrance after French woman, Madame E Guerin, suggested artificial poppies be made by widows and orphans of dead soldiers. They could be sold to benefit veterans and destitute children of northern France. In 1921, 350,000 small poppies and 16,000 large silk poppies were bought by the New Zealand Returned Services Association. The ship delivering the poppies was delayed and instead of Poppy Day being held on Armistice Day (November 11 when World War 1 ended) it was held the following year on the Friday before Anzac Day. DAWN SERVICE: A service of remembrance each year for the fallen, timed for dawn because on April 25, 1915, the first soldiers landed on the Gallipoli Peninsula at dawn. THE FIRST SERVICE: In 1916 in London 2000 Australian and New Zealand soldiers marched through the city on April 25. A London newspaper called them "the Knights of Gallipoli." NZ CONTRIBUTION: In 1914, New Zealand had a population of slightly over one million. After the war began 124,211 mobilised, and of those 100,444 went overseas. It was 10 percent of the country's population and 40 percent of eligible men between the ages of 20 and 45. Per capita New Zealand made the biggest contribution to World War 1 of any country in the dominion. CEMETERIES: New Zealand Gallipoli dead lie in 24 cemeteries on the peninsula. Art Focused Essay: Pablo Picasso claimed that, “The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web.” Keeping Picasso’s image on art in mind and the notions of similarity and difference as described above choose 2 or 3 works of art to compare and contrast. Inform your essay with the historical significance of the artwork, the style of art and any other features that will further illuminate your main ideas. Think about what is hidden below the surface in art work, what emotion/s does a painting, sculpture, etc. evoke in you when you glance at it. Does it change the longer you view it? Consider perhaps paintings of similar subjects such as everyday women who became famous only in being the subject of art. For example you could compare Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and Johannes Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring. What is it about these two women that thrust their images into being some of the most well known works of art? Are there similarities or is it in the unique differences that we appreciate art?u don't have to answer the whole question i just put the whole question there so u would know the context of the question. i just wanted some ideas for artwork that i could compare. moreResolved Question: please help me with these art history questions (no its not my midterm) only productive answers plse and thnx?

The Mona Lisa is the most famous painting in the history of art. Leonardo da Vinci started painting it in 1503 and worked on it for four years. This portrait is an oil painting on a polar wooden panel. This painting is seventy-seven by fifty centimeters. The masterpiece had smooth lines and the touch of the Mona Lisa would feel soft. Leo nardo da Vinci used the technique Sfumato to leave the corners of the mouth and eyes in shadows by blurring the sharp edges by blending the colors. This technique makes the Mona Lisa’s expression very unclear and vague. The Mona Lisa is a portrait of a woman wearing a heavy garb seated in a mountainous background. Da Vinci made the background of the Mona Lisa blend together with the lady. Also, the interesting thing about this painting is that she is always looking into people’s eyes wherever they stand. There are many theories about who the Mona Lisa is some say that Leonardo painted himself as a woman or that the Mona Lisa was a woman named Lisa Gherardini, the wife of a Florentine merchant. Beside, all of the theories, the Mona Lisa is such an exquisite masterpiece that was created by Leonardo da Vinci. Da Vinci had a great influence on our society, especially in art. Leonardo da Vinci paintings reflected a style called Early Renessaince. Also, this style wasn’t mainly used Italy for another twenty five years. Because of this, he was called Father of the High Renaissance. He influenced many other painters. For example, young European artists began to study nature more closely, just like Leonardo da Vinci did, to paint with realism. Da Vinci would create lifelike animals and people just by studying nature. Because of this, other painters learned to create lifelike people, too. Da Vinci’s tequinces and painting skills inspired and influenced other artists like Piero di Cosimo and Sandro Botticelli. Leonardo da Vinci also influenced the great Michelangelo. Da Vicni’s art really impacted and influenced the art work that is in the world today.Hi I need a transition sentence to connect these two paragraphs please and thanx moreResolved Question: small (AA) boobs: how can i look/feel more attractive?

Summer Days. . . A story of friendship and endless summer By: MICD productions West Side Airport Manhattan, New York Terminal 63 Floor 5 June 19 8:19 a.m. Adriana Davis sat patiently on her Louis Vouttion luggage with a copy of Allure on her lap. Flipping through the gossiping section about Brittany Spears, she sipped her mocha latte from the Star bucks in the food court. It was almost the end of June and she and her best friends, Amber, Tina, and Cali, were headed off to beautiful Black Point, Hawaii for spring break. Adriana could just picture it now. Stepping out of midnight black limo onto a red velvet rug outside of a five star hotel. Young hotel bellhops offering her non-alcoholic beverages. As orange orchids waved in the breeze in tan stucco boxes with ivy plants cascading out them. Walking through the golden spinning door into a beautiful lobby. Lots of other -soon to be-graduates and adults would be there waiting to be check in. Admiring the beautiful stained glass windows and new age paintings on the walls. A bronze chandelier with teardrop shaped bulbs flickers over head. It was perfect. Adriana was a beautiful girl with wavy summer brown hair with light blonde streaks and been lucky enough to have been born with pool water color eyes. Its actually looks as if you could actually dive into them. Amber is a skinny tanned girl with very dark -almost black- hair and cat shaped, bright green eyes. She loves it when people say she looks like an innocent kitten. Tina is an Asian beauty. She has light skin but glossy black hair and light almond colored eyes. Cali is the most boy crazy one of the girls. Her shoulder length blonde hair and dark brown eyes always are getting compliments. Adriana checked her icy blue T-Mobile Sidekick for e-mails or IM’s. None. She wondered where her friends were. When she heard some girls yelling “Adriana,” she turned around to see her friends running towards her with over stuffed suitcases. Tina was in the new Emilie Coach Sandals trailing behind the other girls with a Cinnabon bag in her hand. Adriana could smell the warm, freshly baked cinnamon buns from far away. Yum. When everyone was caught up, they all gave each other a group hug. “Our plane leaves in 10 minutes. What do you wanna do?” Tina asked. Cali bent over and struggled with the zipper on her Prada Messenger Bag and took out a misty green iPod nano and her white iHome. “We could listen to my new iPod if you want. I got two days ago.” “Cool! Lemme see!” Amber took the iPod out of Cali’s manicured hands and flicked it on. The screen went snow white and amber vigorously searched for her favorite song; Makes me Wonder by Maroon 5. Her father used to manage all kinds of unsigned artists and once, before Maroon 5 was a real famous band, she met them. The thumping beat of the song started playing once docked in the iHome and all four girls sat down and discussed plans for while in Hawaii. “Well, I heard from some people at school that there’s going to be an Earth Fest,” Tina said excitedly. “A What?” the other girls asked. “An Earth Fest. You know, like a free concert.” She explained. Tina was overly obsessed with any type of music. Especially pop and rock. Her blinding smile was shown and her dancing almond colored eyes flickered with happiness. “That’s cool! We should go!” Cali said in a very overjoyed voice. “ Yeah! It would be fun,” Adriana said. “Who’s going to be there?” Amber asked. “+44, John Mayer, The Academy Is…, Matt Kearney, Avril Lavigne, and Daughtry.” Tina answered. “OHMIGOD!! +44 and The Academy is..?! I LOVE them!” Adriana practically yelled. “I like all of them! Except, I’ve never heard of Matt Kearney.” Amber said. The next song came on. It was Golden by Fall Out Boy. “Matt Kearney is kind’ of pop rockish and really cool. We can listen to him on the plane.” The girls began to sing along to Golden. And I saw god crying the reflection of my enemies And all the lovers with no time for me And all the mothers raise their babies Just stay away from me…. “Flight 168 to Black Point, Hawaii now boarding,” a mans voice said over the intercom. It echoed down the long spiral hall as people began to get up and throw coffee cups and magazines away to board the plane. All the girls got up and gathered there things and Cali shut off her iPod. She popped it in her bag and trailed behind the other girls. The Dark colored woman outside of the plane held her hand out for the flight tickets and when she punched them through the silver ticket machine, the group made there way down the long hallway into the plane. West Point Airlines Flight 168 Seats: 13a, 13,b and 13c 11:05 am Amber, Tina and Cali sat in there tall leather seats as their waitress, Gisele, brought them there Mexican Iced Teas. She flipped down the small, light gray table hanging off the back of the seat in front of her and place the purse there. She had just gotten it three days before and already, the $495 purse had been reduce to a teenager wasteland. She dug through her iPod, two mini crossword puzzles, 4 lip gloss tubes, two eyeliner crayons, three tubes of mascara, 3 tubes of lipstick, her sidekick, two packages of Orbit Gum (Tropical Citrus and Bubblemint), three old photos of her dog Selena, her silver Sony Cyber shot DSCW55 7.2MP Digital Camera, chewed up pencils, her Dooney and Bourke bubble wristlet credit card wallet (with 5 Platinum credit cards and $687.58 in cash) makeup remover, tissues and her car keys (which she didn’t need this week). She finally pulled out her phone from that bottomless pit of a bag and flicked it open. The bright blue light blinded her for a moment then she pressed ‘4’ (Sean was speed dial4 because of 4 letters in his name). And the phone began to ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. “Hey. You’ve Reached Sean-o. Leave me a message. I’ll get back to you later.” It was the answering machine. So, Adriana left a message. “Hey Sean. Its Adriana and I just wanted to see how Mexico is. So, text me later or call back. Alright, I love you. Bye.” and she snapped the phone shut. She woke up to the sound of her T Mobile Sidekick ringing. She had fallen asleep. When she saw the time of the 3” by 2” screen, she’d realized she’d only fallen asleep for five minutes. Man, the pillows were comfy. It wasn’t a phone call. It was a text Message. From Sean. Adriana got excited and signed on quickly. She realized he had sent it to her two minutes ago. He’d signed off already. But, she read the message anyways. Sean(A.K.A. Lacrosseboi13998) Lacrosseboi13998: Hey Girl. Listen I just don’t think we should see each other anymore. Christina Lillian…she….she stole my heart. I’m sorry. I know you’d never wanna b friends now but, I hope we can be. I cant, just CANT, go out with you anymore. Ok. G2g. Mom wants go go get seaglass on the beahc. Bye. Lacrosseboi13998 has signed off at 11:21 am A little mascar tear fell off her eye and right onto the keyboard of the Sidekick. She closed it and it away in her Burberry bag and more tears started to come. But, she held them down. Crying on planes wasn’t right. At that moment, Adriana didn’t even want the plane to land in Hawaii- she wanted to go home and forget about the whole stupid vacation.Black Point Airport Black Point, Hawaii 5:44 pm As the plane touched the cement on the Hawaiian airport, Adriana wans’t very excited. The fact ther her boy friend had just dumped her….put out her flame for her entire trip. Ashley Lillian? She thought as she grabbed her Prada duffel and her Burberry purse. Wow. What a total looser. Once she had all of her things she began, slowly, to make her way out of the plane. The image of Ashley Lillian, popped into her head. The Red curly hair the powerful blue eyes, her skinny freckled legs and arms and neon pink braces gave her a frightful image. She immediately stopped thinking about it. When she stepped into the marble floors of the Black Point Airport, she was in heaven. Even though her boyfriend had just dumped her, she had forgotten about it for a minute. She looked around.NO RUDE COMMENTS PLEASE! PEOPLE THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST BOOK!! PLEASE JUST TRY TO UNDERSTAND IT! Hi, I'm trying to learn the name of the Russian painter, who is famous for his paintings of blue women. I mean that the women are generally painted the color blue, from the I believe the 1950-60's. These paintings are very kitschy, and I've seen them with tiki, or exotica inspired decor. I'm a vintage collector myself, nd would really love if someone could help me to figure out the name of this artist so that I might be able to find some of his work. moreTop Famous Paintings Of Women Links
